ON GRID SYSTEMS

In grid-connected systems, the user's energy consumption is met by the energy produced by the photovoltaic (PV) system. In cases where consumption exceeds production, the user obtains surplus energy from the grid; conversely, when the user's consumption is less than production, surplus energy is fed back to the grid with a purchase guarantee from the state. All data, such as how much energy is consumed from the grid and how much is fed back to the grid, is recorded through bidirectional meters or meters specified by the state. This ensures that not even 1 kWp of generated energy goes to waste. Anyone with an electricity subscription can harness energy from the sun using these systems.

Investment Implementation Plan

1. Call Letter

Investors who want to establish an Unlicensed Solar Power Plant obtain a Call Letter if there is space available at the relevant Transformer Center in the area where the production facility will be located by applying to the relevant Electricity Distribution Company.

2. Power Limit Requirement

The installed power of the planned solar energy plant cannot exceed thirty times the contract power of the consumption facility to which the production will be associated.

3. Project Approval

Within 90 days from the date of notification of the Call Letter to the Connection Agreement, the projects belonging to the facility must be submitted for approval, and within 180 days, approval from the relevant institution is required.

4. Connection Agreement

Within 30 days from the project approval date, an application must be made to sign a Connection Agreement with the relevant Grid Operator.

5. Plant Acceptance

Within 2 years from the date of signing the Connection Agreement, the installation of the GES must be completed, temporary acceptance must be made, and it must be put into operation.

6. System Usage

A System Usage Agreement is signed between TEDAŞ and the Solar Energy Plant whose acceptance is made, and the solar energy plant starts selling electricity.

On Grid Business Implementation Stages

01

Field Survey

During the survey, data such as environmental shading factors, direction analysis, and infrastructure calculations are examined. Before implementing the project in the field, a survey is conducted to ensure that the installed system is more economical and robust.

02

Project Design

Based on the measurements and information obtained during the Field Survey, necessary electrical and mechanical projects required for the GES, along with the layout plan, are prepared. System design is carried out considering current carrying, voltage drop, and grounding calculations.

03

Logistics & Transportation

A plan and program are made for delivering all products packaged for land transportation from the factory to the installation site.

04

Carrier System Assembly

Assembly is carried out according to the specified conditions in the project, taking into account the direction, angle, and placement data, based on environmental data such as seismic load, snow load, wind. In the design of the carrier construction, additional weights and the existing structure of the ground are taken into account.

05

Panel Installation

Panel installation according to the design is done by our experienced team with correct electrical connections, without damaging the panels, at the most optimum time, and with necessary safety measures.

06

Inverter Installation

After mounting the inverters in the appropriate places during the design phase, panel-inverter interconnections are made. Following this, sensor and remote monitoring connections are established with inverter settings.

07

Wiring

AC wiring between the inverters and the main GES panel is carried out according to standards using a design that minimizes the risk of faults.

08

Commissioning

Once all connections and assemblies are completed, the GES undergoes necessary tests, is commissioned after the approval of relevant authorities, and its connection to the grid is completed, and it is handed over to the investor.
